Como no mi semanita larga, que se suele hacer bastante corta, en Sevilla para disfrutar del verano... por suerte no hizo tanta caló. Hubiese sido el momento ideal para deshacerme de mis melenas, pero no... aunque gracias a facebook y a una foto del verano anterior hice creer a más de uno que lo había hecho :PYeah, my long week (that actually feels quite short) in Sevilla to enjoy its summer... luckyly enough it wasn't that hot. It would have been the perfect occasion go get rid of my long hair, but I didn't... however I made more than one person to believe I had done it thanks to facebook and a photo taken the previous summer :PTres cumpleaños en tres días consecutivos. Mi hermano ha pasado a ser un treintañero más... a mí ya me va quedando menos.Three birthdays in three consecutive days. My brother got in his thirties... I'm getting closer to mine as well.Cada vez que vamos de vuelta a Sevilla nos hacemos una foto juntos para ponérsela a mis padres de fondo de pantalla (sí, ya sé que hay mejores cosas que poner), y creo que cada vez salimos más mariquitas...Every time we both go back to Sevilla we take a picture together to use it as the desktop background for my parent's computer (yeah, I know there are plenty of better things that could be used for that purpose), and every time I think we look more gay...
Este año no pensaba ir a los sanfermines... pero al final me animé y encontré vuelos a precio razonable, aunque sólo cogí un día de vacaciones. El día 4 llegamos bastante tarde, así que no dio tiempo a nada. Jackie y yo nos quedamos con Xabi en casa de su abuela. El día 5 estuvimos en Arraintz con Xabi y su madre, que nos invitaron a almorzar, luego hicimos algunas compras y más tarde quedamos con Javi y Alicia. Para mí el gran día fue el 6...This year I was not planning to go to sanfermines... but what the... I found flights for a reasonable price and decided to join, I only took one day off though. We arrived too late on the 4th to do anything special. Jackie and me stayed with Xabi at his grandma's place. On the 5th we visited Arraintz with Xabi and his mother, who kindly invited us for lunch. Then we went to do some shopping and we met Javi and Alicia later. For me the big day was the 6th...Nos levantamos temprano para ir al almuerzo: chistorras, jamón con tomate, huevos fritos... :)_We woke up early to for to the 'almuerzo' (kind of brunch I would say): chistorras (spicy sausages? very tasty), ham and tomato, fried eggs... :)_Luego el chupinazo, este año ni se me pasaba por la cabeza entrar otra vez en la plaza del ayuntamiento, así que lo vivimos muy "light" en otra plaza, la del Castillo si mal no recuerdo...After that it was time for the chupinazo, this year I didn't even consider to get inside the town hall's square. We "saw" it from a much safer place, I think it was the 'Plaza del Castillo'...Y lo que vino después, pues ir de aquí para allá, bailar, beber, comer, cantar... disfrutar del ambiente en definitiva :DAfterwards, well, going from one place to another, dancing, drinking, eating, singing... enjoying ourselves :DEl día 7, después de haber dormido a pierna suelta durante al menos hora y media... me levanté hecho polvo y fui con Jackie a casa de unos familiares de Alicia para ver el encierro desde el balcón. Luego fuimos a ver la procesión de San Fermín desde otro balcón en casa de Alicia. Y ya más tarde Jackie y yo fuimos a comer con Javi a casa de sus padres. A partir de ahí la fiesta continuó sin mí :POn the 7th, after sleeping like an angel for almost one hour and a half..., I woke up completely knackered and went with Jackie to the place of one of Alicia's relatives. The we could see the bull race from a balcony. After that we went to see the procession for Saint Fermín from another balcony at Alicia's place. And later Jackie and me went for lunch to Javi's place. And then the party had to go on without me :P
