Wimbledon (25-06-2008)

He de decir que no soy un fan del tenis, pero me pareció buena idea cogerme un día de vacaciones para visitar Wimbledon con Max, Mathias y Harsh. Con un poco de suerte veríamos algún partido interesante y algún tenista importante. En realidad la cosa no fue tan bien, para cuando llegamos la cola era bien larga y el aforo estaba completo, así que si queríamos entrar no quedaba otra que esperar a que la gente fuese saliendo.

I must say I'm not a tennis fan, but I though it would be nice to take one day off to visit Wimbledon with Max, Mathias and Harsh. With a bit of luck we could see some interesting matches and some important players. Things didn't go that well though, when we arrived in there the queue was already very long and there was no more room in the courts. So if we wanted to get in we had to wait for people to get out first.

Ante la imposibilidad de colarnos (yo ni lo intenté, no valgo para estas cosas) decidimos irnos porque ya teníamos plan para la tarde, ver el partido de Alemania contra Turquía en un pub alemán. Había muy buen ambiente, sólo hay que imaginar un pub repleto de alemanes celebrando el paso de ronda de Alemania en la eurocopa :D

As we could not jump the queue (I didn't even try, I'm not agood at that stuff) we decided to leave because we already had plans for the evening, and that was watching the football match Germany-Turkey in a German pub. There was a nice atmosphere, just picture a pub full of German people celebrating Germany went to the next round :D
