What a lovely night! We started our trip to Stonehenge quite soon (yeah, we worked half of the time that Friday...) in a car we had rented for the seven of us. If I'm not totally wrong it took us more than five hours to get to the festival's parking, and it was an around-half-an-hour walk to the stones... have I mentioned there was light rain during the whole night? There was light rain during the whole night.
Realmente el festival no es nada especial, es una especia de macro-botellón (de hecho creo que casi había más españoles que otra cosa por allí...), y en el aire flotaba cierto aroma a Semana Santa. Eso sí, merece la pena por lo menos para acercarse a las piedras ya que el resto del año el acceso está restringido. En resumen, una extraña mezcla entre misticismo y juerga. Y desde aquí agradezco a Mathias su sacrificio al volante por el bien de todos ;)
Actually the festival is nothing really special, it's some kind of drinking gathering (as a mater of fact I think there were more spaniards than anything else in there...), and the air was carrying weed (being smoked) scent. However it's worth it if you want to get close to the stones because the access is restricted the rest of the year. Summarizing, a weird mix of mysticism and crazy party. And from here I want to thank Mathias for his sacrifice driving us there and back ;)
Ah, Pili se nos unió casi cuando ya amanecía. Creo que quedó impresionada, seguro que el año que viene repite :P
Ah, Pili joined us almost at dawn. I think she was amazed by the event, for sure she will go back again next year :P
