Pub crawl! (15-02-2008)

Un pub crawl consiste básicamente en ir caminando de pub en pub tomando una pinta en cada uno (no es una de mis costumbres ¬¬). ¿Y por qué hacer uno de estos? Supongo que hay que integrarse en la cultura anglosajona (¿no?), además Marcello y Rete estaban de visita. Nuestro pub crawl consistía en recorrer Spring Road donde hay alrededor de seis pubs, lo que se traduciría en alrededor de tres litros de... pongamos cerveza (también se puede traducir por ir unas cuantas veces al servicio a evacuar). Empezamos con algo de retraso, primero a Brickies, luego Old Times, Fat Cat, Dove... cuando llegamos a Grinning Rat ya estaban sirviendo las últimas bebidas. Al Milestone no pudimos entrar, aunque eso no nos detuvo y seguimos por la Asociación Caribeña de Ipswich donde pudimos tomar la sexta con unos abueletes jugando al dominó.

A pub crawl basically consists in drinking a simple pint in a number of pubs, walking between them (it's something I do regularly ¬¬). ¿And why join one of these? I guess we should try to embrace the British culture (shouldn't we?), and on the other hand Marcello and Rete were visiting us. Our pub crawl consisted in walking along Spring Road where there are around six pubs, which means around three litres of... let's say beer (it can also be translated into going to the loo several times). We started with a bit of delay, first to Brickies, then Old Times, Fat Cat, Dove... when we got in Grinning Rat it was already last-orders time. We couldn't get in Milestone, however that did not stop us and we ended up in the Ipswich Caribbean Association were we could have the sixth pint next to a group of old guys playing a game of dominoes.

Y como estábamos bastante contentos y la noche aún era joven, fuimos a hacer un poco de ejercicio a Liquid.

And because we were quite happy by the time and it was still early enough we went to Liquid to do some exercise.
